Job Title: Touch-Up Painter (Short-Term)
Location: Decatur, IL
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM
Pay: $19.00 per hour
Assignment Length: 4–8 weeks

Position Overview:
Spherion is hiring short-term Touch-Up Painters to assist with light painting and surface correction work in a warehouse setting in Decatur, IL. These roles involve performing minor cosmetic paint touch-ups on equipment or products to ensure a clean and professional finish. Ideal for individuals with an eye for detail and a steady hand.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform basic touch-up painting on metal or finished surfaces

  • Sand, clean, and prep areas before painting

  • Apply paint using brushes or small rollers for clean, precise coverage

  • Inspect finished work for quality and consistency

  • Follow safety procedures and use proper PPE at all times

  • Maintain a clean and organized work area

Required Qualifications:

  • Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks

  • Strong attention to detail and precision

  • Ability to follow verbal and written instructions

  • Dependable and punctual

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous experience with painting, touch-up work, or similar tasks

  • Familiarity with warehouse or manufacturing environments

Additional Information:
This is a short-term position expected to last 4 to 8 weeks.
