Second Shift Repack Technician

Job Title: Repack Technician – Second Shift
Location: Decatur, IL
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM
Pay: $19.00 per hour

Position Overview:
Spherion is hiring a dependable and detail-focused Repack Technician to support warehouse operations in Decatur, IL. In this role, you will be responsible for repackaging products for distribution and performing small cosmetic repairs such as cleaning and touch-up work. This is a hands-on position that requires precision, efficiency, and a strong work ethic.

Key Responsibilities:

• Repackage bulk materials into smaller units based on order requirements

• Perform minor cosmetic repairs, including cleaning products and applying basic touch-ups

• Inspect items for defects or damage prior to and during repackaging

• Label, seal, and organize finished goods according to company standards

• Maintain a clean, safe, and orderly work area

• Complete documentation accurately and report production or quality issues as needed

• Follow all warehouse safety guidelines and protocols

Required Qualifications:

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality

• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions

• Reliable attendance and punctuality

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous experience in a warehouse, production, or packaging environment

• Familiarity with basic cleaning and cosmetic repair techniques

• Knowledge of workplace safety procedures
