Job Title: RFID Project Technician (Short-Term)
Location: Decatur, IL
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM
Pay: $18.00 per hour
Assignment Length: 3–4 weeks
Position Overview:
Spherion is seeking reliable and detail-oriented individuals to assist with a short-term RFID (Radio Frequency Identification) Project in a warehouse setting in Decatur, IL. This temporary position involves tagging, scanning, and updating inventory systems using RFID technology to improve tracking and operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:

Apply RFID tags to inventory and materials

Scan items using handheld RFID readers

Verify and update inventory data in tracking systems

Follow detailed project instructions to ensure consistency and accuracy

Collaborate with warehouse staff to maintain workflow

Maintain a clean and organized work area

Adhere to all safety protocols and site procedures
Required Qualifications:

Ability to stand, walk, and perform repetitive tasks for extended periods

Comfortable using handheld technology and scanners

Strong attention to detail and accuracy

Dependable with good communication skills

Ability to follow verbal and written instructions
Preferred Qualifications:

Previous warehouse or inventory experience

Familiarity with RFID technology or barcode scanning systems
Additional Information:
This is a short-term assignment expected to last approximately 3–4 weeks.
